Equipped with a perfectly balanced rotor, the Fristam FKL Pump is ideally tailored for high differential pressure operations designed to withstand pressure peaks. The Fristam FKL series can handle high flow rates of up to 120 m3/h and is suitable for both CIP and SIP applications. Like all models in the range, it offers a high standard of hygiene, gentle product handling, low maintenance, durability, and economical operation.

Specific Construction
FKL pumps with their circumferential pistons are characterised by their solid design with extremely narrow gaps. Their well-balanced construction principle minimises piston wear. Due to the sophisticated shapes of their rotating parts, pumps from Fristam’s FKL series can be easily maintained very quickly.

Split-Style Gearbox
The FKL’s revolutionary split-style gearbox provide quick and easy access to bearings and shafts. Low maintenance oil lubrication, bearing-supported gears, and large double tapered bearings lead to long pump life.
Shafts
Stronger Shaft
The diameter of a Fristam FKL shaft is up to 25% larger than other manufacturers’ shafts. It’s made from a solid piece of 316L stainless steel and has a shorter overhung load to withstand elevated pressures without breaking.
Rotors
Double Face Rotors
Fristam FKL rotors are balanced, meaning the support hub is centered so that force acts through the center of the rotor to keep the lobes from distorting. Other pumps’ unbalanced rotors do not distribute force evenly. At higher pressures, unbalanced rotors can bend at their tips (deflection), further damaging the pump.
